Hints for Getting a Good Yarn Match

Lighting is important – When taking a photo of your original wool, try taking it in good lighting (and without flash). Clearer images with less glare and colour variation will lead to better results!

Yarn weight and Needle Size – Use the built-in filters tools to select a similar yarn weight to your original yarn (e.g. DK, worsted, chunky), and / or the needle size you’re using.

Fibre Content – Try filtering fibre content, too. Making sure you get a similar fibre content to your original yarn can help to ensure that the overall look and feel of your final product is consistent!
